Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing and wrestling before making her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd kept building on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16 saw her rise into the Bantamweight division after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She beat Lina by a ground and pound win in 2nd round. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round and was awarded a prize for her performance on the night. Her first major fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters fought an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within only 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
