Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to the family of South London. Her mother and father have both been English. She was born and raised in a council estate south of London. When she was 14, she attended The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. As a student at the academy was when she performed in various stage productions, such as the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting journey began in the series Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. The film's success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. The year 2008 saw her was offered the part of Bambi in The ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe was also the main character on How to lose friends & alienate people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was later ended. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast to play Ashley Davenport. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe who had been a series regular in the two previous seasons, had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the first episode of the new season. She was Tituba in the show Salem in 2014 until. Madekwe married her long-time lover, Iddo. The two have collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was also on the show with Madekwe on the TV show Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty and four older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks since her four athletic brothers all played hockey and baseball and basketball in winter and summer. Ashley didn't walk, instead she would dance. At age two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance after this. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, jazz and tap at the top divisions. The important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the distinction of "top individualist".
